Overall Activity Outcome Objectives

  • Adhere to OB cardiac screening guidelines.
  • Incorporate diagnostic sonographic findings of various forms of congenital heart disease and prenatal prediction of postnatal outcomes.
  • Manage referral criteria and risks of fetal cardiac and extracardiac intervention.
  • Provide improved, accurate fetal cardiac diagnosis and counseling to the maternal patient.
  • Detect congenital heart disease with improved accuracy.
  • Communicate to patients more effectively prenatal predictors of postnatal outcomes of congenital heart disease.
  • Counsel patients on postnatal neurodevelopmental outcomes during prenatal counseling.
  • Incorporate prenatal genetic evaluation for fetal cardiac disease.


(Individual tracks and sessions will evaluate specific outcome objectives pertaining to the overall activity outcome objectives.)
